Super Mega Spaceship

An old school platformer bullet-hell with a modern twist. You play as a Marine who is part of an élite military squad tasked with destroying any Intergalactic Invaders.  One day, you're caught off guard by an alien invasion. You are the last survivor of this attack and must put down an evil alien spaceship using a variety of weapons before it destroys the rest of the world. Do you have what it takes?

Ever since the first version I released for a game jam, I wanted to expand on this game and fill it with new mechanics, modes, levels, and bosses. I have so many ideas I want to implement but it will take some time. For my sanity, I will upload a new version of this game with new features every few months or so until the game is finished. Here's my plan:
